‘Storm Chasers' examines the cult following of tornadoes and cyclones in Australia. People who identify as Storm Chasers promote the myth that tornadoes and cyclones are rare and mysterious, risking their lives in pursuit of the ‘perfect’ image of a storm.

 

Despite the dangers associated with Storm Chasing, hundreds of images are available online. Phoebe Bear references flood meters, storm shelters and anemometer's to explore extreme weather and wind power.
